There are currently 5 elementary schools associated with the Johnson Area Music programs.
Band practices are held during the school day. There are weekly sectionals at the students elementary schools as well as full band (all student from all schools) held at F.W. Johnson. Each student is sent home with a monthly calendar outlining what days the students need their instrument.
The 2011-2012 schedule is as follows:
Day 2:Full Band at F. W. Johnson Grade 7 & 8: 9:30 - 10:30 Grade 6s: 10:30-11:30
Day 3: Glen Elm, George Ferguson, Haultain, Gr.6's-Judge Bryant
